New Year, New Me?

making positive changes. Positive Vibes.


This year is quickly winding down and everyone is trying to collect their thoughts and make some goals. Yes, 2018 is supposed to be the year of change and saving money but so was 2017. It is time to reflect and see why I didn’t achieve all my previous goals and how I can make changes to have a different positive outcome. 2017 was the year of BIG CHANGES and GROWTH. This last year we made our huge move from the mountains to the desert and had our beautiful baby girl.

I am so excited for all the amazing and new things to come for this year and sticking to my resolutions for more than 30 days. I’ve been consistently working out and meal planning for 3 months and I could not be happier with the results. After having Luna my body felt so different and it took me 6 MONTHS to get back in the gym but I’m back and more dedicated than ever. I had to realize that if I wanted my life to change I had to change my daily habits. Yes, it was hard at first but after a week I didn’t crave any of that crap. My body adjusted quickly to eating smaller portions more often and began craving healthier meals. I love that my new diet has allowed for me to try new recipes and get creative in the kitchen.

Finding my motivation.

I want it to be a year of expressing my creativity and lifestyle changes. Eliminating what doesn’t help me evolve into the mother and person I want to be. In the past I have been such a negative person, sending out bad vibes, and in turn attracting all the things I didn’t want in my life. It has taken me so long to realize that I don’t need to react and that it’s better to watch the circus than to participate. This obviously wasn’t an overnight change that I made and I didn’t even realize it was happening until I reflected on myself and what I wanted. Becoming a mother has made me so aware of all the things I want in my life and I’m so thankful for my daughter. She changed my life and outlook on everything.

Getting and Staying Organized!

I have found that through trial and error I am my best self when I am organized. There is no way for me to function without lists and goals. It is so important to have something to work towards rather than just floating through life. Having short term and long term goals gives me so much guidance and keeps me on my path everyday.  Personally I am such a visual person and need to see everything written down. To keep myself organized and on track for the next year I am planning to have 3 separate planners. The first is for blogging schedules and ideas. The second for bills, tasks, and work. The third is for meal planning and working out. I’ve tried doing 1 planner and it was crazy!Everyone is different and has methods that work for their madness. It is all about finding what works and keeps you on track. I’m obsessed with writing and rewriting my lists! My favorite place to go and get my pens, stickers, and planners is Joanns.
